Description
Building upon on the fundamental theories and principles you learned in Occupational Health and Safety Part 1 (GNED195), this course continues to focus on making the theories and issues in health and safety today practical as well as useful in real-world settings. You will learn about myriad physical hazards present in the workplace, and the details of how to make your work environment safer. Students will also learn about safety management in a global marketplace as well as your role and your employer’s role in the ethical aspects of safety.

This course is intended for students in the Technology Foundations Certificate program. Occupational Health and Safety Part 1 (GNED195) must be successfully completed prior to enrolment.
