Occupational Health and Safety Part 1

Description

This course focuses on making the fundamental theories and principles of occupational health and safety practical as well as useful in real-world settings. You will learn about your key rights and responsibilities, and you will examine your employer’s responsibilities under Ontario’s health and safety laws. Students will also learn to identify certain workplace hazards as well as how to remove or control them to make your work environment safer.

This course is for students registered in the Technology Foundations Certificate program. To receive the equivalent Occupational Health and Safety course credit, both Part 1 (GNED 195) and Part 2 (GNED 196) must be successfully completed.
