Modern organizations face a myriad of challenges. The rate of change, and the increasing complexity of organizations and their environments, is unprecedented. The need for agility, flexibility, and adaptive responses, to achieve competitive advantage, is paramount.

Organizational Behaviour (OB) is an interdisciplinary behavioural social science, drawing from numerous disciplines such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, and economics. This overview course will provide an opportunity to explore fundamental theories and principles in organizational behaviour, and how these theories are translated into practice within organizations to help enable competitive advantage.

Students will have the opportunity to reflect on, and evaluate, their own experiences, preferences, strengths, and weaknesses, to investigate the interrelatedness of individual, interpersonal, group, organizational, and societal dynamics.
