| Description | Outreach experiences are developed to assist students in their delivery of massage therapy to a variety of clients with diversity of needs in a multiplicity of settings, making adaptations as required. The community outreach introduces patience to massage therapy and at the same time provides students with experiences ranging from the person in need of palliative care to the varsity athlete. The performance expectations are individualized according to the setting, semester of study and the student. Integration of prior learning is an expectation. |
