| Description | This course builds on the concepts introduced in Pathophysiology 1 and 2. Alterations in the function of the endocrine system are examined. The systems approach to pathophysiological processes is continued in an examination of neurological diseases, mood and anxiety disorders, head and spinal cord injuries as well as disease states of the reproductive and gastrointestinal systems. The focus continues to be the relationship between massage therapy and the disease process. |
