Pharmacology principles and knowledge is an essential for Paramedics who are expected to administer medications in Prehospital care. Classifications of drugs will be discussed in an organized manner according to characteristics, purpose, physiologic action, adverse effects, precautions, interactions and Prehospital applications. Students will use a step-by-step process to calculate drug dosages.
