| Description | This course is intended to familiarize the apprentice motorcycle technician with the fundamental workings and testing/overhaul procedures of variable ratio belt drives, torque converters and final drive systems. Attention will be given to components, construction, and servicing of clutching and non-clutching belt drives, chain drives, and gear drives. Students will work independently and in small groups on assignments and lab projects. |
