| Description | The purpose of this course is to examine the concepts of leadership, management, and career preparation. It will assist the student in the transition from student role to graduate role. The Canadian Health Care Delivery System will be examined for issues relating to ethics, palliative care, abuse, nursing shortage and professionalism. The course will also explore the specific role for the practical nurse as a careerist. Learning activities will include lectures, small group activities, and case study analysis. Professors will assist students to learn through the use of “Blackboard”, an information technology offered through Centennial College. |
