| Description | This course outlines the basic requirements of establishing and operating a paralegal business as required by the Law Society of Upper Canada. This course helps students understand the steps involved in the start-up of a business and the legal requirements of self-employment and business ownership. This course will show students the details of a successful business plan, marketing strategies, financial and office management, and rules of conduct with clients and the public. This course will also assist students in making a self-assessment of their own desire to become a paralegal entrepreneur or employee after graduation. |
