| Description | The purpose of this course is to provide students with the necessary skills required to differentiate between mathematical and engineering measurements and understand why all measurement inherently contains error. The method of instruction is as follows: 3 hours a week consisting of approximately ½ hour to 1 hour of lecture/instruction and the remaining time spent in lab performing metrological experiments which focus on measurement of length and angle. |
