| Description | Students need to develop critical thinking skills, and the problem solving approaches to priding quality prehospital emergency care. Concurrently, the course emphasizes the components of primary and secondary assessment, considering all phases of growth and development, implementation of patient care based on interpretation of assessment findings. And the development of skills related to airway, breathing, bleeding and fracture management. Efficient body mechanics for safe lifting is a mandatory component of PHC. |
