| Description | Students will consolidate their ideas and beliefs into a philosophical approach, which will reflect how they believe children, learn and develop. Emphasis will be placed on exploring the characteristics of creating a responsive preschool environment, which supports the well being of the whole child. The importance of observation in understanding the cues and interest of the preschool child will be of particular importance in developing skills in emergent curriculum principles. In addition, students will also develop documentation and program analysis strategies used in evaluating their curriculum experiences.
