| Description | This course is designed to introduce the student to the discipline of Psychology. The goal of the course is to show, using the methods of science, how selected sub-fields of Psychology (e.g., learning, personality, and abnormal behaviour) are investigated. Theoretical perspectives -- psychoanalytic, behavioural, psychobiological, humanistic - are used, where applicable, to demonstrate how diverse human phenomena are being studied. |
