| Description | Effective marketing is critical to managing profitable customer relationships in today’s dynamic and connected environment. This course provides the foundations of marketing theory, practice and trends in the Canadian and global economy. It examines basic marketing theories, plan, mix (price, place, product and promotion), and explores how different business organizations implement and practice diverse strategies and tactics. Students will have the opportunity to develop and apply their knowledge and understanding of the role that marketing plays in economy and business, and the impact it has on the Canadian and global economic environment from both a business and consumer prospective. |
