| Description | This course investigates traditional manufacturing processes as well as newly developed non-traditional techniques. Students will learn how typical industrial piece parts and assemblies are manufactured. Topics focus on processes and related theory for the traditional manufacturing processes of material removal - CNC, as well as more recently developed processes such as powder metallurgy, chemical machining, water jet, LASER and plasma cutting. |
