| Description | This course will introduce the student to the best practices of video producers, editors and audio designers in the creation of digital media productions
The student will be able to:
- Deconstruct media story telling by examining film, video and interactive productions together with their original script and technical breakdown documents
- Read, interpret and create essential design documents for video, audio and interactive media: scripts, storyboards and cue sheets
- Develop the technical skills to assemble a short video production using the Final Cut Studio suite
- Demonstrate the layering of effects and motion graphics
- Demonstrate the treatment and synchronization of music and audio effects
- Manage the compression and export of the final edited production to popular formats
