Description | Before any film or hard drive is loaded into a camera, before any actors are called to set, and before the lights are put into place, there is a whole process that organizes, schedules, and plans out a production. This course provides a detailed, hands-on examination of managing the daily requirements of a production from pre-production to post. This initial module focuses on setting up and managing of a production schedule, breaking down a script, creating an industry standard project budget, and liaising with all the departments, unions, and guilds that are necessary to start production. Students will learn to put together an industry standard call sheet, manage permits, equipment, waivers, and releases. |
