| Description | This course provides a practical introduction to the activity of production planning and control and is offered as part of the Operations Management program at Centennial College. It provides an overview of the relationship of production planning and control to the operations management function. The content of the course deals with translating a sales forecast into a viable production plan to coordinate, execute and control the activities of an operation to ensure that the organizations goals are met in a cost effective manner.
