| Description | This course introduces students in the hospitality programs to the characteristics, formats, and strategies of effective professional communication and report writing. Students will produce a variety of business letters and memoranda, the job application package, and an assortment of short and long reports. In addition, students will prepare and carry out a professional presentation on a topic in their field. These skills prepare students for effective communication in a variety of situations in their chosen professions upon graduation. |
