| Description | In this course students will examine the roles and responsibilities of occupational health and safety professionals, to prepare them for career paths within the profession. Students will be introduced to some of the key areas that will be studied later in the program: safe food and water, epidemiology, infection control, construction, manufacturing, accident theory and safety control methods. Students will review information about professional memberships, Code of Ethics and certifications/designations. |
