Description

Programming for wireless devices is a hands-on, technical elective course, that introduces hands-on experience in developing mobile applications for the Android platform. This course focuses on building Android applications using UI elements, interactions, event handling, data storage to store and retrieve data on the device. This will equip students with the skills to create advanced mobile applications, while also keeping them agile to respond to changes in the future. During the course students will build basic mobile applications using the latest Android SDK for Android platform.In order to prepare students who do not have previous experience with Java, an introduction to Java programming language is provided.
