| Description | This course provides students with an overview of visitor services planning, development and implementation of public programs. Students will examine how interpretation, education and public programming are used to engage individuals, groups, and communities in meaningful and long-term ways. Particular attention will be paid to policy development, learning theories, communication and interpretive skills and program design with an emphasis on providing students with hands-on experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation. |
