The course aims to provide students with skills and competencies related to project design and proposal writing. Students will practice the Results-Based Management (RBM) approach and the principles of Theory of Change, taking into consideration the critiques of this approach. Emphasizing the participatory approach, students will learn how to develop a project Logical Framework Analysis (LFA), a Performance Measurement Framework (PMF), a Risk Register, a Sustainability Strategy and a Project Management Structure. The main product of the course is an authentic international development project designed by students, which will be used as a reference for completion of INTD 726 (Project Monitoring & Evaluation).
