| Description | A critical social theoretical perspective underlies the exploration of current and emerging issues affecting individuals, communities, and populations where they live, work and play. Using a social justice and equity lens and principles of primary health care, students critically and reflexively examine and apply community-nursing concepts to diverse populations, contexts and settings. Indigenous health is threaded throughout. |
