Description | This course allows students an in-depth insight into the commonly used sections of the Revised Statutes of Ontario and other Provincial Acts that may be commonly used by persons in security and law enforcement. This course is intended to assist students in their understanding and application of provincial laws that are commonly enforced in Ontario. Provincial offences themselves are enacted to prevent chaos in communities. However, provincial laws have a lower profile than criminal laws so this course will enable the students to identify specific quasi-criminal acts and apply corrective actions to rectify unwanted Officers must be fully cognizant of the requirements that specific Provincial Acts dictate, therefore, this course will provide the theory for students to understand the procedures and apply appropriate actions. |
