Description | This course provides students with an examination of the academic study of the causes of behaviour, both nature and nurture. Students will use modern psychological perspectives to examine the interplay and impact of genetics, physiology, and environment on development and behaviour, looking specifically at influences on inhibition and expression of genes. Students will analyze contemporary theories (e.g. epigenetics) and possible interventions on undesirable behaviours. |
