Radio Theory

Description

In this course, the student will learn about radio theory and acceptable standards relating to various routine tasks. The student will build a superhetrodyne radio and learn the usage of electronic components, testing and aligning using various test equipment, interpret instructions and follow schematic diagrams.

In this course the student will review basic electronics and be exposed to radio theory,and applications relating to various tasks typically encountered by an avionics technician.

The lab component of the course provides the student with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in soldering components, working with semiconductor devices, repairing and align a superhetrodyne radio.
