Description	Each student will be designated class time to present case material in simulation of a Children’s Mental Health clinical case conference. The case material may be related to either an individual, family or group that the student is currently working with in his or her field placement. Time will also be provided for general discussion of important issues and concerns that students raise in relation to clients’ functioning, treatment approaches and treatment services provided. The Student is expected to present a clinical assessment or progress report in a professional manner (verbally and in writing) and to facilitate the ensuing discussion of case dynamics with the seminar group. Each student may use the case conference recording outline currently in use at their field placement agency. A blank copy of this outline must be provided to the seminar instructor at the beginning of the semester. If this outline is not adequate, an alternative will be supplied by the instructor.
