Research Literacy as an Addiction and Mental Health Worker

Description

Working individually, learners will focus on a practice issue, and will research-promising approaches, critically reflect on practice implications and applications, and develop a knowledge transfer/dissemination strategy and product to share their learning with learner peers within and beyond the classroom. Learners will incorporate their previous learning focused on social innovation, social entrepreneurship and cultural safety to inform their proposed knowledge transfer/dissemination strategy. This course provides learners with the opportunity for a deeper examination of key issues experienced in the field of mental health and substance use.
