Description | Experiential learning environment, The Local, which serves diners seven days a week, will teach in-person students about the value of creating food and service experiences with care and respect. By rotating through all front-of-house areas (including hosting, serving and bartending), students will gain a comprehensive understanding of all restaurant roles and operations. To acquire the same knowledge and skills required to work as a professional team member within a restaurant operation, online learners will complete various immersive activities that mimic real-world scenarios. They will also interact with instructors and their fellow peers to gain additional job-ready insights. |
