Description | This course will focus on the methods required to safely manage a festival, event or conference including health and safety concerns, crowd control, food services, alcohol consumption and security management requirements. Students will learn how to obtain permits, execute contracts, purchase insurance, read legal documentation, the importance of liability and negligence, regulations, legislation and business protocol. In addition, students will also learn about effective prevention strategies and security issues from the law enforcement perspective. |
