The eighth floor of Centennial College’s Event Centre features four unique, fully appointed guest rooms and a reception desk. Here, students taking this program in-person will participate in experiential learning to practice vital skills necessary in front desk and housekeeping positions. Students will practice bed-making methods, learn bathroom cleaning techniques, and explore the important duty of a detailed room inspection.
Both in-person and online learners will use a cloud-based property management system to apply key theories introduced in Rooms Operations I, including booking reservations, check ins and outs, and guest relations scenarios.
