Description

This course will introduce the basic concepts of rotary wing flight and the more advanced aspects and elaboration of rotary wing principles.

Students will learn of the various types and sizes of engines employed by rotary wing aircraft, as well as the different types of drivetrain mechanisms and the different requirements for servicing and repair of these components.

The student will learn the requirement for and the standard practices associated with the rigging of flight controls on rotary wing flight controls.
