| Description | This course gives an overview of theatre as a global phenomenon. Trends and counter-trends in theatre traditions from around the world are analyzed through specific plays and productions. Scripts read in this course may include those from Africa, Asia and South America and Europe, with an emphasis on the vast variety in approaches to live performance found around the world. |
