Digital developments, the internet and apps, have been instrumental in articulating ideas from within the fashion industry to the outside global community. From the rise in popularity of “street style” blogs to the relationship fashion brands have forged with bloggers, it cannot be denied that the future of fashion lies within the Web and other tech advancements. In this seminar, you will examine how websites, social media and app development have influenced and altered the practices of the fashion industry from trend hunting to marketing. Practical applications include social media marketing, blogging and public relations, e-commerce retailing and brand development.
