Description | Students will learn how real theatre companies work by completing shadowing placements during the first two years of the program. Students are encouraged to shadow at a separate company each year, and/or a different role within a company, such as actor, writer-in-residence, director, stage manager, lighting technician, etc. With two separate opportunities to become familiar with the inner workings of a theatre company, students will be able to see first-hand the many paths that their careers in the theatre arts might take. As they progress, students are expected to share their experiences with the class. |
