Description | This course is devoted to the rehearsals and production preparation (the “prep”) needed to shoot one of the short film screenplays written in the first semester. Every student in the program will be involved as either a cast or crew member, in some cases both. Students will break down the script prior to production and make key decisions regarding personnel, scheduling, budgeting and locations. This course emphasizes the collaborative and improvisational problem-solving skills needed in the planning stages of a production. Cast and crew members will be called on to adjust the script and the performances as needed. |
