| Description | This course will develop skills in using esthetic equipment while performing a wide variety of facial treatments. Students will learn how to professionally conduct a post-treatment consultation and recommend home care. Specific treatments are performed for treatment of skin conditions. The learner will gain further understanding of body systems. The emphasis is on the lymphatic system (lymphatic drainage), muscular system (manipulation of muscle tissue), theory of massage, and further skin processes. The students will study electricity as it relates to esthetics, and uses of apparatus in facial treatments, as well as safe use of esthetic treatment machines. |
