Description | The course will help guide students in developing their own leadership style through the exploration of personal vision, values and style. By providing a critical review of the classical, contemporary and evolving approaches to leadership, students will be able to identify leadership skills and behaviours that complement their own strengths in order to enhance their ability to lead others and address specific leadership challenges. This course will also enhance students' interpersonal skills, as well as their knowledge of the theory and research underlying effective team management and collaboration within an organizational or social setting. The relevance of business ethics, globalization and technology to organizational culture will also be explored. An emphasis will be placed on emerging trends in management and social interactions and how these can be utilized to enhance one’s own leadership, collaboration and management skills. |
