Description | Students will examine the role that social media plays in successful communications campaigns (for not only brands, but also individuals), and will explore the tools that can be used to ensure online initiatives are a success. This includes reviewing and examining the place social media has in the advertising industry, reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of various platforms for advertisers, evaluating brand strategies for social media, and learning how to protect a brand's reputation online. |
