Description:

This course is an introduction to new media within a food media context. It will explore how interactive media design is integrated with contemporary advertising to solve complex communications challenges. This class will cover the use of interactive technologies as a vehicle for advertising, marketing and communication, and will acquaint students with digital media techniques and processes. Students will apply their knowledge and skills in developing a food media project which focuses on the design and development of interactive environments to advertise and market a food media product.
