Special Event Operations II

To build on Special Event Operations I, this course will focus on an event’s initial design, creation, marketing, execution and management. Both in-person and online learners will have opportunities to coordinate, execute, manage and evaluate their own virtual or on- and off-campus events. This will teach them to manage communication with all stakeholders, including suppliers, sponsors, volunteers and guests.
Students will also have an opportunity to participate as event team members in their classmates’ events, adding an additional dimension of appreciation for all roles required in executing a successful event.
