| Description | This course is for the person who requires a comprehensive course in basic first aid and CPR. You will learn the first aider’s role in the emergency medical system, and the principles for the prevention, recognition and treatment of airway, breathing and circulatory emergencies. You will also cover prevention, recognition and treatment of cardiovascular emergencies, sudden medical emergencies and soft tissue injury. This course has been extended to include the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Basic Rescuer (C).
