Description | In this course, vehicle chassis systems will continue to be examined with a focus on suspension and steering systems. While building on theses system fundamentals covered during semester 1. This course is intended to provide the students with a continued emphasis to Automotive Suspension and Systems. It is designed to give both a theoretical and practical instruction on the various systems, which allow the vehicle to provide both ride comfort while maintaining control and stability. Emphasis will be placed on identifying the components that are used to make up the various systems as well as their purposes and operation. The learners will become aware of the many other factors and specifications that will affect the vehicles handling, control, and the proper use of specialized tools and equipment required for the servicing and testing. |
