Description | In this course, students will learn to identify emerging industry trends in storytelling with data. Students will explore the wide range of potential storytelling formats, enabling students to choose the most effective approach for their creative and cultural projects. One of the highlights of this course is the opportunity for students to innovate new forms of storytelling with data, pushing the boundaries of creativity and experimentation. Students will also discover the myriad opportunities to tell compelling stories with data within industry, from data journalism and digital product design to film, television, advertising, cultural management spaces, games, and esports. By the course's end, students will not only be well-versed in the differences in storytelling with data techniques across these diverse industries but also equipped with the skills to shape storytelling trends in the future. |
