Description | This course will bring together all the fundamentals and principles of operation from DAST106 and DAST206 and apply them to the more advanced electronic systems used in today’s suspension, steering, and brake systems. Power-assisted and electronic brake systems will be explained. Anti-lock brake and traction control systems will be introduced and emphasis will be placed on their principles of operation, fundamentals, and diagnosis. Tire pressure monitoring systems will be introduced. Wheel alignment fundamentals will be reviewed and practiced but more emphasis will be placed on performing a proper pre-alignment inspection as well as post alignment diagnosis and repair strategies. |
