| Description | The greening of all events using environmentally- friendly products has become a concern for all event planners. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to reduce, reuse, and recycle products and supplies within an event, setting such as plates, paper products, fixtures, displays and waste. Students will also explore sustainable décor options, energy and fuel reductions and the creation of effective event waste management and composting programs that can be utilized in the creation of an event. At the end of the course, students will be armed with the knowledge and expertise to design and execute sustainable and responsible events and businesses. |
