Description | Technician Project is a capstone course in which students utilize all the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the Computer Systems Technician – Networking program to plan and implement an Information Communication Technology system. This project demonstrates their ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade computer networks and also secure them. Students work in a team on various aspect of the project, giving them an exercise of working in a team and team leadership. In this course, learners configure and troubleshoot their project, using a systematic approach and diagnostic tools to make the project a success. They produce project related documents, including detailed diagrams, using computer aided drafting tools. It is mandatory for the students to have a hands-on demonstration of the project and give an oral presentation. |
