| Description | This course is a continuation of Terminology for Health Care Professionals 1 (HCFD104) and provides the student with opportunities to develop word - building and vocabulary skills necessary for verbal and written professional communication within the health care setting. This content will correlate with body systems covered in ANAT129. The focus of this course will be on spelling, pronunciation, simple mathematical problems and comprehension of terminology commonly used by health care professionals. Learning activities will include interactive listening, speaking and written exercises, use of audio CDs, video and/or audiotaping and peer feedback. |
