| Description | This course provides an introduction to contemporary issues in Canada through an examination of how Canada has been shaped socially, culturally, and economically by events and changes both past and present. Language skills and academic skills are developed while exploring topics such as understanding the complex relationship between English and French Canada, recognizing the importance of immigration to the country’s development and valuing the contribution of the First Nations history and culture. |
